What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of data a website can ask your browser to retain and return with later requests. They may support essential functions or optional activities such as analytics and advertising. Browser storage technologies can retain data without using a cookie, so both types matter when reviewing a site.
What these pages do
| Feature | Behaviour |
|---|---|
| Navigation and room tabs | State stays in page memory; no persistent identifier is created. |
| Scroll animations | Visibility is observed locally; no analytics event is sent. |
| Message preview | Draft text stays in the current page’s memory. |
| Copy and download | On request, text goes to the clipboard or a file on your device. |
| Analytics and advertising | No such integrations are included in the supplied code. |
Browser and infrastructure behaviour
Your browser may cache files, offer autofill, restore form values or keep clipboard history. Downloads remain until you remove them. These behaviours are controlled by your browser, operating system and account settings rather than by a website cookie.
Hosting, security services or separately deployed consent controls may have their own storage behaviour. Any additional technology must be assessed in the live deployment, and this page should be updated to identify it accurately. This page does not claim that infrastructure outside the supplied code cannot set a cookie.
Managing your choices
You can inspect and clear cookies and site data in your browser settings, and review downloaded drafts or clipboard history separately. Deleting site data does not delete an email you have sent or a text file you have saved. The supplied site has no optional trackers to enable. If optional technologies are introduced, appropriate information and any legally required consent controls must be provided before they run.
